2011 Spirit Player Brooke Mackenzie Henderson fired an opening round 71 at the US Women’s Open this week at Sebonack Country Club in Southampton, NY.  She is only 15 years old, but certainly plays beyond her years and is excited to be competing in her first US Open.  She is very likely to make the cut.

Henderson guided the Canadian team to T-9th finish at the 2011 Spirit International and with her continued summer of great play and success, we wouldn’t be surprised to see her return to Whispering Pines Golf Club this fall.
